The boot camp is designed to prepare new nursing students for the expectations of nursing school. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> \u201cWe provided study, organization, time management, and self-care tips to help students become successful throughout their journey in the nursing program,\u201d said Luna\u2019s Nursing Success Coach Yvonne Pina. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> During the Boot Camp, members of the Student Nurses Association (SNA) provided snacks and recruited incoming students to become SNA members.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> On Monday, August 15, the nursing department conducted orientation for all new and returning nursing students. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> In the morning session, the nursing department hosted Level 1 students and Level 3 students in an afternoon session <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> The Area Health Education Center (AHEC) provided lunch for all students.
