Santa Fe \u2013 The Office of the State Engineer and the Town of Springer will celebrate the recent completion of the new Springer Dam with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, May 2, 2016.\u00a0 The event will be followed by a guided tour of the new structure.<\/h3>\n

The new dam replaces the former dams which no longer met federal and state safety guidelines.\u00a0 The water stored in the dam provides the Town of Springer\u2019s water supply.
