(Robinett) Baker, age 76 of Amarillo died peacefully surrounded by friends and family on Monday, October 12, 2015 in Amarillo, Texas. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Clayton, New Mexico, located at 200 N. 5th Ave. in Clayton, with Dr. Jim Smith, pastor of Saint Stephen United Methodist Church in Amarillo, officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. Lunch and visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 at the church. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/krtnradio.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/baker-pat.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-21717 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/krtnradio.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/baker-pat.jpg\" alt=\"baker pat\" width=\"140\" height=\"140\" srcset=\"https:\/\/krtnradio.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/baker-pat.jpg 140w, https:\/\/krtnradio.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/baker-pat-50x50.jpg 50w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 140px) 100vw, 140px\" \/><\/a>Pat was born on October 31, 1938 in Clayton, New Mexico to Hiram and Hettye Robinett. She was a resident of Clayton, New Mexico for most of her life until relocating to Amarillo in 1983. Pat became a Christian at an early age and was active in the United Methodist Church throughout her lifetime. She was a member of Rainbow Girls where she achieved the office of Worthy Advisor in 1956. She was also a member of Clayton Eastern Star. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Pat married her beloved Joe Bob Baker on January 30, 1960. They were married for 57 years. Together, they raised three children; Joe Pat, Kerri, and Mike. Of all of her accomplishments in life, Pat\u2019s biggest honor was becoming a wife and mother. She found the most joy in taking care of and being involved in their busy lives. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Pat graduated from Clayton High School in 1956, attended West Texas State College, and graduated from Amarillo College in 1974 where she received her ADN degree as a Registered Nurse. She worked at Union County General Hospital in Clayton, New Mexico for ten years rising to the position of acting Director of Nursing. After moving to Amarillo, Pat continued her nursing career working for Upjohn Healthcare, Panhandle Provider Organization, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Clements Unit where she was awarded RN of the year.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Pat retired from nursing in 2001. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Since retirement, Pat enjoyed traveling, playing Bunko with a great group of gals, having lunches with \u201cOld and New\u201d Friends, accomplishing projects put off for 30 years, and spending time with children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">SURVIVORS: <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">HUSBAND: Joe Bob Baker of Amarillo, Texas. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">1 DAUGHTER: Kerri Vincent and her husband Ken of Emmaus, Pennsylvania. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">2 SONS: Joe Pat Baker and his wife Kris and Mike Baker all of Amarillo, Texas. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">7 GRANDCHILDREN: Brock, Leanna, Nash, Katie, Ryan, Cameron, and Jace. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">3 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Wyatt, Carson, and Kennedy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">1 BROTHER: Thomas Robinett and his wife Polly of Hobbs, New Mexico. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations be made in Pat\u2019s honor to St. Stephen\u2019s United Methodist Church, 4600 S.
