{"id":20027,"date":"2015-08-17T11:42:15","date_gmt":"2015-08-17T17:42:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/krtnradio.com\/?p=20027"},"modified":"2015-08-18T16:44:14","modified_gmt":"2015-08-18T22:44:14","slug":"in-loving-memory-of-margaret-martinez","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/krtnradio.com\/wp\/2015\/08\/17\/in-loving-memory-of-margaret-martinez\/","title":{"rendered":"In Loving Memory of Margaret Martinez"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1439821678386_2212\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Margaret Martinez, age 80, passed away peacefully at her home in Capulin on Friday, August 14, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1439821678386_2213\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Margaret was born June 28, 1935 to Maximiliano and Susana Cruz, and was a lifelong resident of Capulin, New Mexico. She was married to Joe Mary Martinez for 64 wonderful years. <\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">She was predeceased by her parents, siblings Pete Cruz, Bernard Cruz, Corrina Martinez and Caroline Satroplus.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1439821678386_2214\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Survivors include her children Joetta Foster, and husband Fred of Albuqueruque, New Mexico, Bernard Martinez and wife Anna Belle of Capulin , Cynthia Martinez of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Monica Vigil and husband Leonard of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Joseph Martinez and wife Debbie of Des Moines, New Mexico.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1439821678386_2215\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one step great grand child, and sisters, Frances Sanchez of Denver, VickiMontoya of Denver, and Florence Martinez of Aurora Colorado, along with numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and many special friends.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1439821678386_2217\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Margaret was a school bus driver for the Des Moines public schools for many years, and while doing that was a retail clerk at Rubin\u2019s Family Clothiers in Raton. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed picking choke cherries, pi\u00f1on, and during cold winter days enjoyed baking and playing rummy but most of all being with her family. She will\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">live on in the hearts and minds of the loving family and friends she has left behind.<\/span><\/div>\n<div id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1439821678386_2219\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">A special thanks to Robin Pilley and Sandi Casias for their kind and compassionate care to Margaret and her family during her final days.<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1439821678386_2222\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\" id=\"yui_3_16_0_1_1439821678386_2233\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Arrangements and celebration of love for Margaret Martinez are under the direction of the Yaksich-Long Funeral Home.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Margaret Martinez, age 80, passed away peacefully at her home in Capulin on Friday, August 14, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. \u00a0 Margaret was born June 28, 1935 to Maximiliano and Susana Cruz, and was a lifelong resident of Capulin, New Mexico.
