Terry"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Cathy Lynn Terry\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Age 59 went to be with the Lord on March 14, 2015 surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born to Carrie\u00a0and Sam\u00a0Terry on November 1, 1955 in Trinidad Colorado, her early years were spent with family and friends in\u00a0Sopris, Colorado. The family moved to Trinidad in 1968, where Cathy then attended Trinidad High School graduating in 1973.\u00a0\u00a0She furthered her education by acquiring a BS in teaching at Adams State. She was very athletic and her love of sports continued throughout her life playing softball,\u00a0caring for horses,\u00a0and later becoming an avid golfer, known to win\u00a0many\u00a0a\u00a0golf tournament.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Cathy was a loving daughter, mother, sister and aunt to 9\u00a0nieces and nephews, and 11 great nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>She was preceded in death by her father Sam Terry,\u00a0Sister\u00a0Bernadette\u00a0Popiel, and loving dog\u00a0Felize.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Cathy is survived by her partner Kenny\u00a0Bigham\u00a0of Trinidad, daughter Heidi and son in law Chris Embry of Denver, CO. Mother Carrie Terry, and five siblings; Joe and Louise Terry of Trinidad, Gary Terry of Trinidad, Lois\u00a0Mantelli\u00a0of Albuquerque, Sam and Janette Terry of Denver, Marco Terry of Colorado Springs.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Nieces\u00a0and Nephews include Gary (Lori) Terry, Cheryl (Jon) Robertson, Tony (Maria)\u00a0Mantelli, Christie (James)Roybal, Luke Terry, Joe (Timi) Terry, Joshua (Laura) Terry,\u00a0ReGina\u00a0(Ben)\u00a0Wilbor,\u00a0and Matthew Terry.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Great\u00a0nieces\u00a0and nephews include Justin and Carrie Terry, Ricky and Dani Robertson, Dominic and GabriellaMantelli, Jacob\u00a0Lubischer,\u00a0Maiyah\u00a0Roybal, Natalia\u00a0Wilbor,\u00a0Marli\u00a0Terry, Lily and Alex Terry. Special Aunt Alice and Uncle BillAbshere\u00a0of Raton New Mexico. And the many special family and friends through the years\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at 11AM at Holy Trinity Church.
