{"id":11921,"date":"2014-12-09T08:14:38","date_gmt":"2014-12-09T15:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/krtnradio.com\/?p=11921"},"modified":"2014-12-09T08:14:38","modified_gmt":"2014-12-09T15:14:38","slug":"in-loving-memory-of-judy-davidson-de-garbo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/krtnradio.com\/wp\/2014\/12\/09\/in-loving-memory-of-judy-davidson-de-garbo\/","title":{"rendered":"In Loving Memory of Judy Davidson De Garbo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Judy Davidson\u00a0De\u00a0Garbo, passed away on December 5, 2014 at the age of 80.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Judy was born in Trinidad, Colorado on July 5, 1934 to Carl Davidson and Ruby McDonald Davidson.Judy\u00a0graduated from\u00a0Hoehne\u00a0High School in 1952 and shortly thereafter married Jimmy De\u00a0Garbo, her husband\u00a0of\u00a058\u00a0years. She\u00a0lived most of her life\u00a0in\u00a0Hoehne\u00a0until moving to Trinidad in 2002. She has had an apartment at the Legacy Assisted Living Center\u00a0in Trinidad\u00a0since 2013.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Judy\u00a0had a selfless generosity when it came to her\u00a0family, friends and neighbors, eventually putting it to good use by getting\u00a0her\u00a0license to practice nursing. She was\u00a0first\u00a0employed\u00a0at Mt. San Rafael\u00a0Hospitaland\u00a0then at\u00a0the Trinidad State Nursing Home where she\u00a0was an LPN.\u00a0She later\u00a0moved\u00a0into\u00a0the\u00a0Medical Records\u00a0Department\u00a0where she retired as\u00a0manager of the department in\u00a01989.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Judy had a\u00a0very\u00a0strong faith in God and\u00a0attended\u00a0Community Bible Study sessions. She\u00a0also\u00a0coordinated and hosted many\u00a0religious\u00a0study groups\u00a0developing long lasting friendships with many of the members.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Judy was a dedicated Grandmother to her 7 grandchildren.\u00a0 She loved each one unconditionally and was a positive force in their development into adulthood.\u00a0She was happiest when surrounded by her family and looked forward to seeing her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who stopped by to see her often.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p xml:lang=\"EN-US\">She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy and her mother Ruby Dietz. She is survived by her three children Vince (Daniela) De\u00a0Garbo; Jeanine (Mike)\u00a0Ridolfi; and\u00a0Jennette\u00a0(Joe)\u00a0Bonato.\u00a0 She is also survived\u00a0by seven Grandchildren, Trevor (Corrie) Hodge, Fabian\u00a0DeGarbo, Mary Jo (Mike)\u00a0Baudino, Bradley (Jennifer) Baca, Andrew\u00a0DeGarbo, David (Jillian) Baca, Martin\u00a0Bonato,\u00a0and\u00a0eleven\u00a0Great Grandchildren.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Visitation will be Wednesday from 2PM-6PM\u00a0at the\u00a0Comi\u00a0Chapel.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Funeral\u00a0Services will be held on Thursday, December 11\u00a0,\u00a0at 10AM\u00a0at the\u00a0First\u00a0Christian Church at 200 S. Walnut.\u00a0\u00a0with Pastor Cary Nelson officiating.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Active pallbearers are Trevor Hodge, Bradley Baca, David Baca, Fabian\u00a0DeGarbo,\u00a0Andrew\u00a0DeGarbo\u00a0and Martin\u00a0Bonato.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p xml:lang=\"EN-US\">In lieu of flowers, persons wishing to do so may make contributions to the First Christian Church, of the Legacy Assisted Living Facility.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p xml:lang=\"EN-US\">Arrangements made under the direction of the\u00a0Comi\u00a0Funeral Home.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p xml:lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Judy Davidson\u00a0De\u00a0Garbo, passed away on December 5, 2014 at the age of 80.\u00a0 Judy was born in Trinidad, Colorado on July 5, 1934 to Carl Davidson and Ruby McDonald Davidson.Judy\u00a0graduated from\u00a0Hoehne\u00a0High School in 1952 and shortly thereafter married Jimmy De\u00a0Garbo, her husband\u00a0of\u00a058\u00a0years.
