Come to the Lake Alice Campground for coffee and doughnuts and some camp-chair birding. Binoculars and guides provided. \n10:15 a.m. Hummingbirds in Your Hand. Assist rangers from the National Park Service for a close look at hummingbirds at the park Visitor Center. \n2 p.m. Just for Kids. Soda Pocket Amphitheater. Bird-related crafts\, games and activities for kids. Designed for kids 6-12. \n4 p.m. The Big Guys! Lake Alice Campground. Come meet live birds such as a Swainson’s hawk and a turkey vulture\, two birds who migrate to our area.
