DESCRIPTION:Each year The Santa Fe Opera takes its act on the road – offering free performances by their apprentices for school children along with free public concerts. The two Raton concerts will be at the historic Shuler Theater on Thursday\, April 9th at 1:30PM and 7PM.  \nSanta Fe Opera apprentices Abigail Mitchell and Shea Owens star in “Written in the Stars.” (Photo Credit to ABQ Journal)\nThis spring’s performance includes an original work\, Written in the Stars\, which explores the relationship of words and music in opera in a delightful and engaging format for children and families. Santa Fe Opera apprentices\, soprano Abigail Mitchell and baritone Shea Owens are featured singers. \nThe two apprentice programs provide advanced training for some of America’s most talented and dedicated young opera singers and theater technicians.
