DESCRIPTION:  \nCalling all filmmakers and film lovers!\n  \n  \nThis is your chance to showcase your short films or works-in-progress on the big screen and get feedback from a supportive audience. Think of it like an open mic night\, but for movies! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out\, all are welcome. \nDon’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow filmmakers and share your passion for cinema. \nDate: August 11\, 2024 \nTime: 6pm \nLocation: El Raton Theater \nCost: Free \nEligibility: \n\n\nFilms must be under 15 minutes in length. \n\n\nAll genres are welcome\, but content must be appropriate for a general audience (no excessive violence\, nudity\, or hate speech). \n\n\nFilmmakers must be present at the screening. We encourage filmmakers to stay for the entire event to network and support their fellow creators. \n\n\nTechnical Requirements: \n\n\nFilms should be in a standard digital format (e.g.\, MP4\, MOV) and no larger than 3.5GB in size. HD quality (1920x1080px) minimum is recommended\, 4k is better. \n\n\nIf your film quality is 720p or less\, we recommend upscaling the project with Topaz Labs or a similar software platform for the best display of your film. \n\n\nSubmissions: \n\n\nSubmissions are free and you may submit your film via the form below beforehand\, or bring in a thumb drive the day of the event.
