DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first annual Military\, Veteran & Law Enforcement Day at Bean Day! Check our website for more detailed information! \nhttp://www.wmbeanday.com/ \nLooking for Military\, Veteran\, Law Enforcement and First Responder Organizations and Veteran Owned Business to participate. \nWe will begin the day at our traditional Veterans Memorial Service at Wagon Mound Veteran Memorial Park on Park/Catron Road. During this Memorial Service we will honor our Fallen Heroes. Becky Christmas who just finished out her year as National President for the Gold Star Mothers will lead our service as she has for the past several years. \nFollowing the Memorial Service\, those that want to participate in our 5k or 10k Ruck Sack March will do so. A Ruck Sack March is a March (your choice to walk or run) with a loaded weight (typically 35 lbs\, your choice to carry weight or not) as we walk in remembrance of all the men and women that have previously and are currently serving our country. \nLocal Girl Scouts have volunteered to run our mid point/ water stop. \nYou will end the March at the park on Railroad where you will be given refreshments and a Commemorative T-Shirt. Military & Law Enforcement Recruiters will be set up as well as Veteran Organizations that will provide resources and information. There will be Vendors and Food Trucks also in the area. The Car Show and Beer Garden will also be on our main street.
