SUMMARY:Master Of the Mountain Adventure Race/Relay Weekend
DESCRIPTION:MASTER OF THE MOUNTAINS ADVENTURE RACE/RELAY (M.O.M.)\nSeptember 11-12\, 2015\nMaster of the Mountains Adventure Race/Relay challenges competitors across the country to come and prove they truly are the MASTER OF THE MOUNTAINS.  Run through the rugged terrain of Sugarite Canyon State Park in Northeastern New Mexico\, paddle a course on Lake Maloya at 7\,500 feet\, bike through the high plains along the Santa Fe Trail\, and prove your prowess on a tactical shotgun shooting course at a remote location of the National Rifle Association Whittington Center.\n \nWhat:  4-component sprint distance adventure race comprised of a hiking/trail running component\, a paddling component\, a biking component and a shotgun shooting component. All on designated routes.When:  Saturday\, September 12\, 2015Time:  8 am* at the South Boat Ramp of Lake Maloya\, Sugarite Canyon State Park and through Raton. (*Arrive early for the send-off!) Competitors usually finish between 3-4 1/2 hours plus shooting component (Cut-off @2PM).Who:  Solo competitors or 2-4 person relay teams. Many competitors are in it to win\, so there is a good level of competition. Many others enjoy the personal challenge.
