DESCRIPTION:For November\, we will be celebrating Native American Heritage Month by learning about the histories and culture of indigenous groups. This week\, we will learn about the Navajo people and the significance of sand painting. We will have a special guest lecturer who will be teaching us how to sand paint as well. \nThis activity runs from 1-4 PM for students in grades 1-8. The cost is $9/student\, and there are scholarships available.
