DESCRIPTION:GGK -Meeting Center for Innovative Community:  \n130 Park Ave\, Raton\, New Mexico \nAgenda: WED January\, 29th\, 2020 /11am-12:00(Bring your lunch if you would like.)  \nFacilitators: Leonore Barfield  \nNote taker : Volunteer needed please! \n11:00 Sign-in and introduction \n*Summary and recap GGK business . \nNew Mexico Early Childhood Development Partnership is coming back to Raton ! \nWe have not registered any new application at the food distribution so we are focusing on Longfellow and all their yearly activities . We did give out new children books at the December distribution as gifts from GGK. \n* Flyers and registration forms – distributed widely and now include Springer and Maxwell . I have been to both schools and met with the principals and local libraries . We are getting a good response. \nNew Books have arrived from Three River Foundation ..Thank you! \n* We are still working with Sam (UNM Family Development) working to see about having a Family workshop again at Longfellow it is tentatively set for March 12th during the end of Literacy week there. \nPromotions ..Working with Billy D at the radio station to record reading books. All is going well Books are read Monday- Thursday @ 8 PM . \n* We are working on a GGK brochure. \n* Working on Spring Fling with the Lyons Club (Tim Sexton ) to celebrate all the families who has registered for the Imagination library /with games etc and entertainment after it warms up a little. \nWe are working on media to recruit younger families and caregivers to our group thru Newspaper\,Radio and Facebook.
