DESCRIPTION:PUBLIC NOTICE \nFIRE BURN BAN LIFTED \nUpon consultation with the Fire Chiefs of Colfax County\, and under the authority of Colfax County Ordinance Number 2006-1\, the Colfax County Fire Marshal hereby declares effective immediately\, that the ban on open burning in the Farley\, Miami\, Rapid Response\, Ute Park\, Vermejo\, Philmont\, Moreno Valley\, and French Tract Fire Districts in Colfax County\, be lifted as of 8:00 AM July 29th\, 2020 \nBurn permits are required for all open burning other than recreational fires. A recreational fire is an open fire of 3 feet or less in diameter.
