DESCRIPTION:On Any Sunday will be shown on Weds.\, April 29th\, 7PM at El Raton Movie Theatre. FREE! Donations gratefully accepted to benefit the Sangre de Cristo Chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. Sponsored by KRTN\, El Raton Theatre and Raton Natural Gas.\nOn Any Sunday (1971) is a documentary film about motorcycle sport\, produced by Steve McQueen and directed by Bruce Brown. It was nominated for a 1972 Academy Award for Documentary Feature. The film follows the lives of motorcycle racers and racing enthusiasts\, presenting the unique talents needed for the different forms of racing. Steve McQueen is featured in the film\, along with Mert Lawwill\, Malcolm Smith and other motorcycle racers from the late 1960s and early 1970s.\n\n ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\nChristian Motorcyclists Association’s fund raising efforts enable them to help share the gospel message throughout the world .Run for the Son is CMA’s only fund raiser each year 100% of all funds go to missions outreach with the following breakdown:\n\n \n20% goes to Missionary Ventures which provides transportation to pastors in 3rd world countries. Anything from a motorcycle to a donkey\, boat\, oxen\, whatever is appropriate for the pastor to get from one of his many churches easier than having to walk miles to maybe 8 or 10 churches. \n \n20% to Open Doors which takes bibles into closed countries at the risk of their own lives. Countries like Iraq\, Iran\, Afghanistan\, China\, and others. \n \n20% to the Jesus Film project which translates the film into native dialects\n \n40% goes to outreach to bikers and others around the world sharing the gospel.\nlast year with the help of all the participants Run for the Son raised: \n  \n2014 Run for the Son Total\n$4\,047\,650.35\nTotal announced at theCMA National Rally\, June 19\, 2014Hatfield\, Arkansas \nFor every dollar raised someone hears the gospel message of salvation and has the opportunity to ask Christ to be their Lord and Savior.
