DESCRIPTION:Walking meditatively through a labyrinth\, a form of pilgrimage\, is a time-honored Christian spiritual practice. Please join Randi Whitman as she leads us in this experience. Take time to bring yourself into alignment with your spiritual energies. \nRandi says\, “I do not know when my interest in the labyrinth as a spiritual tool began. A labyrinth weekend led by Lauren Artress was offered by Ghost Ranch in 2001. I jumped at the chance to attend. After that\, I was a promoter of Labyrinths in the Gallup\, NM\, area. I helped with the design and construction of the outdoor labyrinth at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Gallup\, and was the caretaker of a portable labyrinth made by a local Catholic nun. I also led several Labyrinth events in Gallup and Raton. I helped Rev. Katherine Griffis envision and construct the fabric labyrinth that was used monthly for a number of years at the First Presbyterian Church in Raton.” In case of bad weather\, that fabric labyrinth which now resides at The Mandala Center\, will be used inside. \nFor more information please call the Center at 575.278.3002.
