SUMMARY:"Child Find" Event – Raton
DESCRIPTION:Child Find is a free screening for children ages birth to five years old. \nFor those attending Head Start – Raton’s Child Find event will take place on March 3rd\, 2015\, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Longfellow Elementary School. \nFor those children not attending Head Start\, Raton’s Child Find event will take place on March 4th and 5th\, 2015\, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Longfellow Elementary School.   \nScreening target areas include: vision\, hearing\, learning\, speech and language\, as well as fine and gross motor skills.   \nParents may also register children for Kindergarten on March 4th and 5th\, but must bring the child’s birth certificate\, immunization record\, and Social Security Card.  \nFor an appointment\, call Carolyn Hestand at 575-445-7918 (Raton Public Schools). \nThese Child Find events are sponsored by High Plains Regional Education Cooperative #3 and the Raton Public Schools.
