DESCRIPTION:On the weekend of September 11th\, 12th & 13th\, 2015\, Trinidad’s historic architecture will proudly preside over a series of events focused on an explosion of creative energy in the form of artfully enhanced vehicles. The huge Art Car Parade will feature more than 75 extraordinary vehicles as part of a family-friendly Art Car festival and parade.\n\n\nWhile the parade starts at noon-ish\, get there early because the fun starts at 10 am with many art/crafts booths\, food vendors and activities all along Main and Commercial streets. Don’t run off after the parade passes by because all the kooky conveyances will disperse downtown for up close viewing and unbelievable photo ops. Meet the cartists\, paint an artcar\, check-out the booths\, eat some yummy grub and participate in some wacky fun activities. \nThen you simply must stay for the astounding Cardango – It’s a dance / party / circus. This takes place at the Sebastiani Gym on Las Animas from 7 to Midnight. Cardango is a wild and wondrous evening of performances and music beyond your wildest imagination.
