Taught by Ira Simpson\, a USCCA-certified instructor\, this course covers essential concealed carry and home defense fundamentals\, including safety and legal considerations\, handgun handling and selection\, shooting fundamentals\, gear and accessories\, and the physiological aspects of violent encounters. \nStudents will participate in both classroom sessions and live fire range exercises to build confidence and competence with their firearm. The CCW class meets all New Mexico state requirements for permit certification\, and attendees who complete the course will receive the documentation needed to apply for their concealed carry license.
