SUMMARY:6th Annual Turkey Shoot (Philmont)
DESCRIPTION:Cimarron Civic Club is proud to announce the 6th Annual Turkey Shoot to be held Sat.\, Oct. 7th\, 10am to 2pm at Philmont Scout Ranch. The event will take place at the new Philmont range (SCI) at Hwy. 21 & Cito Rd. Proceeds benefit the Cimarron Civic Club scholarship fund. This is a family-friendly event with competitions for children under 12 as well as adults. No alcohol or pets are allowed on the premises. \nRegistration opens at 9:15 am. Registration fees are $5 per turkey shoot & $10 per cash shoot.The 1st shooting event starts at 10 am. A turkey shoot takes place every hour on the hour. \n\nParticipants can win a turkey! Youth competitors may choose a pizza instead. A cash shoot with a 50/50 split takes place every half hour. Participants need to be registered for their event 15 minutes prior to the event. \n.22 caliber house guns are provided for the turkey shoot events & are available for the cash events. Participants can bring their own gun & ammunition for the cash events. Personal guns must be cased & unloaded and will be inspected at check-in. \nFor any questions about the event\, participants can contact Ross Robinson at 575-447-2304.
