Raton High School Celebrates Students Awarded with Academic Honors from College Board National Recognition Program
Students at Raton High School earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Program. The Program celebrate the hard work of high school students nationwide to help them display their strong academic performance.
“We are thrilled to celebrate our students and recognize them for the great work they have been doing. We are proud of their strong academic performance in the classroom and on the PSAT/College Board assessments,” said Lynette Simpson, RHS School Counselor. “This honor reinforces their individuality and achievements.”
The School Recognition Award celebrates and honors students who demonstrated academic excellence within their school community. These students scored in the top 10% on the high school on the PSAT/NMSQT exam.
The Rural and Small Town Recognition Award spotlights high-achieving 10th and 11th grade students from smaller communities who have earned at least a 3.5 GPA and scored in the top 10% among New Mexico PSAT/NMSQT test takers.
The First Generation Recognition Award honors high-achieving high school students who are the first in their families to attend college and recognizes those who have at least a 3.3 GPA and are among the top 10% of the National PSAT/NMSQT test takers.
