Raton Lights City Christmas Tree

Ratonians gathered at Ripley Park Friday evening November 28, 2025 for the annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony that was held at 5:30 before a large crowd that gathered to watch.

From there many folks walked on down Historic First Street to see the static display of floats in the electric light parade. The winners of this year’s display are
1st – Youth Heartline
2nd – New Hope Family Counciling
3rd – City of Raton

The folks a Youth Heartland put together the first place electric float for the Static Electric Light Parade held on Historic First Street in downtown Raton Friday November 28, 2025.
New Hope Family Counseling garnered the 2nd place award Friday evening at the Static Electric Light Parade on Historic First Street.
The City of Raton Float received the third place award Friday evening at the Static Electric Light Parade

One of the many traditions Raton has to offer is the big Christmas tree lights on InBank.
