It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Marie G. Romero, aged 77.
Marie was a beloved spouse, parent, grandparent, and family member and is a cherished member of
the community. She was born on 12/24/1948 in Trinidad and lived all her life here.
She was a homemaker and devoted her time to community entities such as The Miners
Memorial and La Casa.
She is preceded in death by Alfred Romero, Frank Romero, Frank and Margaret Maunez.
Florence Barajas, Jessica Barajas and Tino Romero.
She is survived by her children: Margie (Ted), Rodney (Jackie), grandchildren: Kyle, Shantel,
Camila Rose, JJ, Rodney Jr., Noah, AJ, Sierra, Frankie, and sister Alice, grandchildren, and
numerous great-grandchildren. Also survived by Stepkids: Rodrick, Vanessa, Reynard, Esme,
and Rico, their grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous
friends and family.
Memorial Mass to be Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Holy Trinity Church in Trinidad at 1:00 pm with interment
to follow.
