POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the County Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of maintenance activities within county-owned buildings and facilities. This position supervises maintenance staff, ensures buildings are safe and operational and coordinates repairs, preventative maintenance and facility improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Note: Regular and predictable attendance in the performance of this job is an essential function.
Supervise, train and evaluate maintenance staff and custodial personnel.
Plan, assign and review work orders and maintenance schedules.
Ensure timely completion of repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and structural systems.

Position DESCRIPTION: The Detention Center Warden is responsible for planning, directing and overseeing the operations and staff of the Vigil Maldonado Detention Center to ensure the safety, security and welfare of detainees and ensures that the facility complies with all applicable local, state and federal regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Detention Center Warden is responsible for managing daily jail operations, staff training, compliance, security and inmate welfare.
1. Training and Compliance Responsibilities
Responsible for the training of all officers regarding the 40-hour Adult Detention Center Standards, annual training certifications and policy/procedure implementation.
Ensures 120-hour on-the-job (OJT) training is completed before officers are assigned to posts independently.
Keeps all training and safety regulations updated.
Attends and implements new training programs as provided by NMC (New Mexico Counties) programs.

Job Title: Income Maintenance Technician (Ongoing and Benefits Management)

ANNUAL SALARY: Position is a salaried position with an annual wage range $34,632.00 up to $38,480.00
annually. Must complete a minimum 90 day probationary period.

Primary Responsibilities:
Interviews, assesses and reassesses eligibility for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP),
Medicaid, Colorado Works and Adult Financial programs on initial and ongoing applicants/participants. This
position provides generalist CBMS program services and functions that are associated with application
initiation, including but not limited to: interactive interviews and ongoing case management and program
eligibility redeterminations as needed or assigned.

responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
● Interviews current clients and potentially new applicants regarding income, resources, household
composition, and employment status to assess their eligibility for assistance programs.
● Assists current clients in completing forms when needed and obtaining necessary documentation.
● Reviews redetermination documents for accuracy and completeness, verifies information, and
computes assistance benefit amount.
● Explains program eligibility requirements to current clients, including rules and regulations, his/her
rights and responsibilities, available benefit dates, reason for approval or denial and the right to
appeal.
● Reviews and completes redeterminations. Reviews cases regularly for continuing eligibility taking
necessary action in response to changes.
● Determines appropriate referrals to work programs and other community resources and services.
● Works closely with work program and agency staff to share required information.
● Reviews daily reports that are instrumental in discovering discrepancies that could affect
participant’s eligibility.
● Utilizes all interfacing technology and programming (i.e., CDLE, DMV, Assessors, Electronic Benefits
Transfer (EBT), and other programs as needed or assigned) to ensure proper verification of resources
when processing client applications or redeterminations.
● Determines the need to recover funds and/or make referrals for fraud investigations.
● Participates in the dispute resolution process with the applicant/participant when requested.
● Prepares evidence, attends and testifies in local and state hearings when applicant/participant
appeals.
● Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

software, payroll systems, human resource systems, database software, state defined case management systems.

Additional Minimum Qualifications
● Associates Degree in business, accounting, or human service related field from an accredited college

● Two (2) years of direct experience in Colorado Benefits case management and/or community
outreach in financial services.
Preferred Requirements
● Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, or human service related field from an accredited college
or university or a degree in one of the behavioral sciences.
● Five (5) years of direct experience in Colorado Benefits case management and/or community
outreach in financial services.
● Bilingual in English and Spanish helpful but not required.
● Knowledge of judicial processes and execution of State department mandates.
