5. Deliberate and Act on the approval of the minutes of the meeting held on April 9th, 2026

Deliberate and Act upon the request submitted by Mark and Kathleen Honeyfield, 1301 Cedar Street, and the City of Raton, New Mexico, to rezone the property from MHP Mobile Home Park District to C-3 General Commercial and Highway Service District. The request is to allow the placement of a double-sided digital sign to advertise current and upcoming events within the City of Raton. The New Mexico Department of Transportation now requires properties displaying signage adjacent to an Interstate Highway to be commercially zoned. This request is being presented as an Economic Development initiative
