- Deliberate and Act upon the request submitted by Mark and Kathleen Honeyfield, 1301 Cedar Street, and the City of Raton, New Mexico, to rezone the property from MHP Mobile Home Park District to C-3 General Commercial and Highway Service District. The request is to allow the placement of a double-sided digital sign to advertise current and upcoming events within the City of Raton. The New Mexico Department of Transportation now requires properties displaying signage adjacent to an Interstate Highway to be commercially zoned. This request is being presented as an Economic Development initiative

I, the undersigned authority, do hereby certify that the above notice of a meeting of the P&Z Board of the City of Raton, New Mexico, is a true and correct copy of the said notice and that a said copy of this notice was then posted in a cabinet outside of the City Hall of said City in Raton, New Mexico in a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public at all times, and said notice was posted on Monday May 18th, 2026 by !):00 AM and remained so posted continuously at least 72 hours preceding the scheduled time of said meeting. Also, KRTN Radio Station and the City of Raton Website will post the agenda before the designated time limits for regular and special meetings.
