Raton Public Service Planned Emergency Power Outage- Thursday, March 12, 2026

To: All Raton Public Service Customers

Dear Valued Customer,

Raton Public Service Company will conduct a planned emergency outage to perform critical infrastructure and transmission line repair necessary and system reliability.

Outage Details:

• Date and Time: Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026 (12-hour duration)
• Affected Area: The Raton Public Service Area

This scheduled work cannot be performed while lines are energized and is required to prevent potential future disruptions. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain reliable electric service.

Recommendations:

• Prepare for the outage by charging mobile devices, setting alarm clocks, and securing any items requiring refrigeration.
• Avoid opening refrigerators/freezers unnecessarily to maintain a cold temperature.

If you rely on electricity powered medical equipment, please make alternative arrangements during this period.
