Jon Price, age 70, died on Friday, January 30, 2026 at his home north of Clayton, New Mexico.
SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, Fubruary 4, 2026, at the Don R. Wood Auditorium in Clayton, New Mexico. BACKGROUND: Jon Price was born on September 12, 1955, in Clayton, New Mexico to Aaron Price and Frances (Miller) Price. He attended school in Clayton and graduated from Clayton High School in 1973. Jon then graduated from Oklahoma Panhandle State University with a degree in education. When he was younger Jon worked for the town of Clayton at the power plant. He worked as a volunteer fire fighter in Clayton for 20 years and served as the fire chief. He was a carpenter and did construction and roofing work. His favorite was antique dealing. He worked as an antique dealer for over 20 years and sold antiques on Ebay for the last 18 years. Jon married Fabiola Vazquez in Castle Rock, Colorado in 2018. Jon was preceded in death by his parents and by a granddaughter Kyann Price.

3 Sons: Mark Price and his wife Tara of Glenwood City, Wisconsin, Michael Price and his wife Josie of White Bird, Idaho and Matthew Price and his wife Angie of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
5 GRANDCHILDREN: Karst Price, Kenzie Price, Lucas Price, Logan Price and Liam Price.
1 SISTER: Joy Blubaugh of Clayton, New Mexico.
2 BROTHERS: Jim Price of Elizabeth, Colorado and Joe Price and his wife Anna of Happy, Texas.
