Yolanda Cordova (Enriquez), age 69, originally from El Paso, Texas, and a longtime resident of Raton, NM, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and warmth touched everyone she met.
Yolanda had a gift for bringing people together, often through her love of cooking. Her homemade tortillas were legendary among family and friends, a symbol of the care and joy she poured into every meal.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto Enriquez and Francisca Frayre Enriquez; her beloved daughter, Kristie Cordova; and her cherished in-laws, Camilo and Julia Cordova.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carlos Cordova; her daughters, Pamela Cordova and Monica Garcia (wife Leandra Garcia); and her treasured grandchildren, Asya Rae, Nasiah Cordova, and Bugs. Yolanda also leaves behind her brothers, Jose Frayre, Roberto Enriquez Jr. (wife Eva Enriquez), Mario Eduardo Enriquez, and Francisco Enriquez; her sisters Maria Meeks, Patricia Hurtado (husband Frank), and Sylvia Gamboa (husband Jerry).
She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Vera Cordova (Michelle), brother-in-law Bobby Cordova, and dear family friend Diane Garcia, along with Diane’s children, Christian Garcia and Matias Apodaca, whom Yolanda loved as her own grandchildren. Her legacy continues through countless nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Yolanda’s life was defined by love, generosity, and devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her laughter, her strength, and the way she made everyone feel at home.
Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, recited by the Legion of Mary. Solemn Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11:30 am with Father Bill Woytavich as the Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
