In Loving Memory of Louise Gonzales

Hazel Louise Gonzales, born December 17, 1930, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at the age of 95. Known to family and friends as Louise, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard C. Gonzales, her son Bryan Gonzales, and her great-great-grandson, Boston.

Louise is survived by her loving daughters, Karen Valdez (husband Jim) and Lynn Lovett. She is also survived by her siblings: brothers Dick Romero (wife Carol), Donald Romero (wife Ethel), and sister Dorothy Weaver. Louise’s legacy continues through her ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, twelve great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

At the heart of Louise’s life was her love for her family, expressed through her devotion as a wife and her constant care as a mother. She dedicated much of her time to volunteering and caring for others, touching countless lives with her kindness and generosity.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers who supported Louise in her later years, and to Robin, her Hospice Nurse, whose attentiveness and compassion were deeply appreciated.

Special gratitude is also given to the pallbearers: Greg Romero, Chris Romero, Greg Catanach, Keith Valdez, Cody Lovett, and Logan Black, for their support and service.

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be held on January 16, 2025, at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s-St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am with Father Bill Wotovitch as the Celebrant. Rite of commitment and internment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Louise will be remembered for her unwavering love, her kind heart, and the lasting impact she made on her family and community. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
