Celina Sintas, 74, of Spearman, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Clayton, New Mexico, and lived a life rooted in faith, family, and devotion.
Celina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J.B.; her daughter, Jennifer; and her son-in-law, Lupe. Though her journey was marked by loss, Celina’s strength and patience carried her family through hardship and created a foundation of love that will endure for generations.
She is survived by her son, Joseph; her daughter, Angula, and son-in-law, Jesse. She was a proud grandmother to Anthony and his wife, Kelsey; Victoria and her husband, Griffin; and Zaniah and Zebediah. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Lilian and Fisher, with another on the way, who brought her endless joy.
A lifelong Catholic, Celina’s faith was the guiding light of her life. She will be remembered for her unmatched patience, her gentle spirit, and her unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the lessons she taught, the sacrifices she made, and the countless memories she created with those she cherished most.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 and Thursday October 9, 2025 from 9:00am-9:00p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman. Arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.
The Rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM, both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spearman, Texas. Reception to follow.
