In Loving Memory of Mary Alice “Lisa” Trujillo

Mary Alice “Lisa” Trujillo, age 85, died Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at her home in Clayton, New Mexico, surrounded by her family.

Vigil Services will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, June 30, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM celebrated by Fr. Joji Konkala. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.

Mary Alice “Lisa” Trujillo was born on January 7, 1940, in Raton, New Mexico to Onesimo Gonzales and Lola (Chavez) Gonzales. Her family moved to California where they lived in Riverside California and in Orange County California She grew up in California and then later returned to Clayton. Lisa married Robert Moses Trujillo on February 6, 1960, and he preceded her in death on April 9, 2019. Lisa loved her family and especially loved spending time with and taking care of her grandchildren. She would take care of anybody in need any time and enjoyed doing so. In addition to her husband and parents, Lisa was preceded in death by 1 son, Stephan Lopez, 2 grandsons, Emelio Trujillo and Nico Tewa and by a sister, Cruzita Sierra.

SURVIVORS:

3 DAUGHTERS: Theresa Gonzalez and Albert of Farmington, New Mexico, Marilyn Senkevich and Tobias Sanchez of Clayton, New Mexico and Krista Trujillo and Sergio Martinez of Clayton, New Mexico.

4 SONS: Joseph Trujillo, Robert Trujillo, Eugene Trujillo and Zachary Barnes all of Clayton, New Mexico.

3 SISTERS: Georgia Garcia of Raton, New Mexico, Esther Pacheco and Milo of Denver, Colorado and Doris Chavez of Clayton, New Mexico.

3 SISTERS-IN-LAW: Geneva Medina, Lillie Padilla and Jerry and Dolores Trujillo all of Clayton, New Mexico.

25 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
