Barbara Flores Dominguez, age 75, died Friday, May 30, 2025, in Clayton, New Mexico.
Rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM on Monday, June 9, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM celebrated by Fr. Joji Konkala. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton.
Barbara Flores Dominguez was born on April 17, 1950, in Chacon, New Mexico to Florentino Vasquez and Antonia (Romero) Vasquez. Barbara married Salvador Flores on November 23, 1981, in Clayton, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on December 11, 1995, and she later married Cayetano Dominguez. Barbara worked as a nurse’s aide at the nursing home, she was also a professional care attendant and provided in home health care for many. Barbara loved all of her family very much and will be greatly missed by all. In addition to her parents and her first husband, Barbara was proceeded in death by a grandson, Sean Angelo Vasquez and by 4 sisters, Rosa Martinez, Jesusita Sanchez, Flora Hurtado and Viola Ruiz and by 3 brothers, Jose Vasquez, Leroy Vasquez and Henry Vasquez.
SURVIVORS:
HUSBAND: Cayetano Dominguez.
CHILDREN: Ruby Martinez, Ruben Vasquez and his wife Stephanie, Ruben F. Vasquez and his wife Murron and Denise Soto.
STEP-CHILDREN: Armando Dominguez & his wife Sophia, Eduardo Dominguez, Olivia Dominguez, Veronica Dominguez, Margarita Dominguez and Adriana Dominguez.
GRANDCHILDREN: Andrea Soto, Adelita Martinez, Nathan Vasquez, Mariza Vasquez, Christopher Muller and Diamond Mullar.
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Auriana, Jaden, Cooper, Aurora, Caidyn and a baby boy on the way.
SIBLINGS: Seralia Maestas and Florentino Vasquez and his wife Alice.
And several nieces and nephews.
