Eddie Martinez, 81, of Trinidad Colorado, passed away on February 19, 2025
Eddie was born on February 7th 1944 in Cokedale Colorado, and spent his life dedicated to his family and work. He married the love of his life, Grace Martinez, and together they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Eddie was a proud father of seven, Grandfather of 17, and Great-grandfather of 21 who cherished his family above all else.
For 33 years, Eddie worked for the BNSF Railroad, where he earned a reputation as a hardworking and dependable employee. His work ethic, dedication, and integrity left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Eddie’s greatest joy in life came from spending time with his family. He was a man of faith, known for his generosity, kindness, and a quick wit that could always bring a smile to anyone’s face. He enjoyed playing pool, making a good garden, hunting fishing, and making a big Camping trip once a year. Those close to him will remember his infectious laugh and positive attitude.
Eddie’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of crossing his path.
