The answers are nobody’s business but your own. \nDo you drink because you have problems? To relax?\nDo you drink when you get mad at other people\, your friends or parents?\nDo you prefer to drink alone\, rather than with others?\nAre your grades starting to slip? DESCRIPTION:Mondays from 7 pm to 8 pm\nHere’s what you can expect at your Narcotics Anonymous meeting:\n\nOpening discussion usually starts with a prayer and an introduction\nDuring introduction\, members will state their names and if comfortable\, may also state a little something about themselves such as their addiction or the number of days they have in sobriety\nTry to get to the meeting early so that you can meet with some of the members of the group early on. You might even find a sponsor during this time.\nMake the most out of the meeting by asking as many questions as you have and being open and honest\nIf you can spend additional time to talk and mingle with other members of the group after the meeting\, that will be good too\nIf you are an addict who is in recovery\, you can attend closed sessions but if you are not an addict and simply want to take some time to experience a meeting\, attending an open meeting is the best option\nFor the best results and the greatest support\, NA recommends that new members attend one meeting every day for the first 90 days—90 meetings in 90 days\nMost meetings will have a single speaker and moderator and will focus on one of the twelve-steps of recovery\, some include excerpts from the bible too\nAttending Narcotics Anonymous meetings regularly can help you to build bonds with other members of the group and you may progress through the twelve-steps with a better understanding of each\nThe end goal is to be in recovery and to become a sponsor who can help others who are in their early stages of the NA program

DESCRIPTION:Colfax County Young Marines and Colfax County Rapid Response invite you to a spaghetti buffet dinner at the Pappa’s Sweet Shop in Raton on Feb 8th.  This fundraiser assists the Colfax County Young Marines with funds for their needs while they serve our community.  It’s an all you can eat buffet with service from the young marines. DESCRIPTION:FEBRUARY 7TH \nSt. Patricks-St. Joseph’s Parish\, along with FNB New Mexico and D&T Wells & Auto\, present the 24th Annual Father-Daughter “ROARING INTO THE 20’S” Dance to be held February 7th at the Parish Hall from 7-9 pm\, with DJ Josh Martinez. \n \nTickets per person are $8. Snacks will be provided. Corsages and Photos will be for sale at the dance. Please note: There are a limited number of tickets\, so buy your tickets early at the Parish Office\, FNB New Mexico\, or Roses Honeysuckle Station. \nNo Moms or Boys are allowed. \nThis is a great opportunity for fathers\, and father figures alike\, to show their daughters how to be treated on a special date with dad. \nProceeds from the dance will benefit our youth group attending the Steubenville of the Rockies Youth Conference in Denver this summer.
