Times are tough in this small farm community\, and hard decisions will have to be made. The meeting is open to the public\, and participation from community members is highly encouraged. \n  \nThe ARC assists partner agencies by working with them by pooling resources and identifying new opportunities for networking\, development strategies and training. Improving each agency’s capacity to distribute more food and services to those in need is a priority for the ARC.  \nLunch will be provided for attendees. As the food bank for nine Northern New Mexico counties\, The Food Depot provides food to more than 145 nonprofit agencies including emergency food pantries\, hot meal programs\, homeless shelters\, youth programs\, senior centers\, homes for the mentally disabled and shelters for battered persons.  This service enables these agencies to stay focused on their primary missions such as sheltering homeless families\, providing hot meals to the homebound and offering life skills development to youth. The food bank distributes an average of 400\,000 pounds of food and household products each month\, providing more than 500\,000 meals to people in need — the most vulnerable of our community — children\, seniors\, working families and those in ill health. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Raton Kids Khorale and The Raton Glee sponsored by the The Santa Fe Trail School of Performing Arts announces their end of the year concert. It will be held in the Shuler Theater at 7:00 PM on Monday\, May 18th. The choir programs have had a difficult year and have not performed for the public except for the Shuleranniversary  program in April. So…..this will be a cumulative program of all of their hard work since September of 2014. \nOur program will consist of choral works from the classical to the most contemporary\, performed inlarge group form\, solos and even a special instrumental selection. This concert has no admission charge and is open to everyone. \nPlease come and support our community choir program.
