In Loving Memory of Eppie Lucero

Eppie Lucero, 73 entered into Heaven on Friday, Feb. 16th 2018 in San Antonio, TX. Eppie was born to Daniel & Mary Lucero in Colfax County, NM on the 6th day Jan. 1945.

Eppie was accomplished at engineering and often a Jack of all trades that traveled throughout the USA. He enjoyed the sport of boxing, playing his guitar in different bands & writing songs for his wife. Eppie always put other people’s needs first, offering advice & guidance throughout his life. He loved hunting, fishing & 4 wheeling with his sons. Eppie also enjoyed conversing & spending time with his many friends.

LuceroEppieHe was passionate about his loving wife, Lorena Lucero, children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren who loved all aspects of life.

Eppie was survived by his wife Lorena Lucero of San Antonio, TX; children Danny Joe Lucero & wife Lynette Lucero of Tavares, Florida; Arthur Lucero of Tucumcari, NM; James Lucero of Raton, NM; Eppie Jr of Raton, NM; Mark Lucero & wife Tory Lucero of Raton, NM; Mike Olivarez & wife Rebecca Olivarez of Pueblo, CO; Dolores Gonzales & husband Carl Gonzales of Maxwell, NM; Ramona Ornelas & husband Eric Ornelas of San Antonio, TX; Bobby Salzaer Sr. & wife Bernie Salazer; siblings Alex Lucero of Raton, NM; Laura Cruz & husband Art Cruz of Fritch, TX; Freddy Lucero & Annette of Albuquerque, NM; Anthony Lucero & fiancé Michelle of Clovis, NM; his 29 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Eppie is preceded by his mother Mary Lucero and his father Daniel Lucero, brother Robert Lucero.

There is will be a memorial service on Thursday March 8th at 10:00am at Church On The Move in Roswell NM. 901 W Brasher RD, Roswell, NM 88203.
