In Loving Memory of Larry A. Espinoza

Larry A. Espinoza, affectionately known as the “Mayor of Trinidad, ” passed away unexpectedly at home on February 12, 2018.

He as born in Trinidad, Colorado on August 10, 1963, to Shirley(Boccaccio) and Herman Espinoza.

Larry was active in Trinidad politics, attending regular city council and commissioner meetings, in order to keep the community well informed of all the political agendas in our area.

He took great care and pride in the lawn services that he provided for his many friends.

EspinozaLarryLarry was an avid Denver Broncos and Nuggets fan. He loved Elvis Presley.

He will best be remembered for the love and caring shown towards his family, many friends and his community.

Larry’s ever present smile along with his laughter and kindness will be missed to all shown by him during his daily walks through town and his daily visits with the McDonald’s 6AM Coffee Crew.

Preceding him in death is mother Shirley, brothers Robert, Mark, Michael, Joseph, niece Chastity and nephew Mikey.

Survivors are father Herman, siblings, Marty (Christine) Espinoza, Daryl(Jolene) Espinoza, Rudy (Eleanor) Espinoza, Kevin Espinoza, Christine (Paul) Marques, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends including Anthony Abeyta and John Rino.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1PM-6PM at the Comi Chapel.

Rosary will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 7PM at Holy Trinity Church.

Funeral Mass will be Monday, February 19, 2018 at 10AM at Holy Trinity Church.

Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery

Honorary pallbearers are Anthony Abeyta, Joe Bonato, John Rino, Mike Romero and all of Larry’s many friends.

Active pallbearers ate Marty Espinoza, Daryl Espinoza, Rudy Espinoza, Paul Marques, Richie Espinoza and Joseph Manzanares.
