In Loving Memory of Lucille Hadad

Lucille Hadad, age 89, passed away on February 6, 2018 at Brookdale Nursing Home, in Denver, Colorado.

She was born on November 26, 1928 in Segundo, Colorado the daughter of Sara (Malouff) and Mike Hadad.

Lucille attended Primero schools graduating in 1946.

She worked in the family business, Hadad’s Super Trading Post, driving a truck, delivering groceries.

HadadLucilleIn 1959, she began employment at Hadad’s Home Furnishing, first in sales and then as bookkeeper until her retirement in 2013.

Lucille was a devout member of Holy Trinity Parish, a member of Catholic Daughters of America and the Sociedad de Nuestra de Guadalupe.

She taught catechism in Segundo and sang in the St. Ignatius Choir.

She was a member of Sayre Senior Citizen Center and the Trinidad Historical Society.

Lucille was an avid bowler and in her younger years played softball as second baseman.

She loved her family and attending family gatherings as she was a favorite among her nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by the many who loving called her Aunt Lou.

Preceding her in death are parents, Sara and Mike Hadad, brothers Buddy, Billy, and Najib Hadad, sisters in law, Georgette Hadad, Theresa Hadad, Bernice Hadad, and nephew John David Hadad.

Survivors are siblings, Leo Hadad, Phoenix, AZ, Richard Hadad, Albuquerque, NM, David (Mary Ellen) Hadad, Trinidad, CO, Victor (Louise) Hadad, Castle Rock, CO, nieces and nephews, Michael Hadad, Debbie Hadad, Diane Hadad, Sharon Hadad (Tori Duckett), Ron Hadad, Denise Hadad, David (Molly) Hadad, Sara (Cole) Dembs, John Hadad, Andrea (Mathew) Jones, Nick (Eva) Hadad, Kathryn Hadad, and Christina Hadad.

Also surviving are great nieces and great nephews, Aengus Revas, Zoe Revas, Sophie Hadad, Michael Hadad, Julien Jones, Seyla Jones, Owen Hadad, Alexandra Hadad, Rylan Hadad ,Judah Panzarella , Nazirah Panzarella, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, from 3PM-6PM at the Comi Chapel.

Rosary will be Sunday February 11, 2018 at 7PM at Holy Trinity Church.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 12, 2018 at 10AM at Holy Trinity Church.

At Lucille’s request, cremation to follow with inurnment at a later date.

Honorary pallbearers are Joe Hadad, Pat Sandoval, Bob Arko and Fred Malouff.

Active pallbearers are Nick Hadad, David Hadad, Ron Hadad, Aengus Revas, Sonny Leone, Chuck Sawaya and David Barrack.

Persons wishing to do so may make contributions to Holy Trinity Catholic Church Restoration Fund or Sayre Senior Citizens Center.
