In Loving Memory of William “Bill” Eads

William “Bill” Eads, age 89, died Monday, January 29, 2018 in Amarillo, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Trinity Fellowship Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Terrell Jones, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery in Clayton, New Mexico by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

EadsWWilliam “Bill” Eads was born on August 7, 1928 in Corlena, Texas to Benjamin Franklin Eads and Lottie Leona (Muse) Eads. The family moved from Perico to Corlena then to Texline. Bill attended school in Texline, then Clayton High School for two years graduating in 1946. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad until he was drafted into the US Army in 1952 where he served as a Corporal in the 7th Army. After he was honorably discharged from the Army. Then he was in the Texas Reserve for 4 more years. After his discharge he farmed and ranched. Bill was baptized in the Central Church of Christ in Amarillo on May 7, 1959. He married Ecolene (Webster) Eade on August 25, 1965 in Raton, New Mexico. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; B. F. Eads, Jr. and Bernard Eads, 3 sisters; Mae Eads, Ione Caddell and Bernice Higgins.

SURVIVORS:

WIFE: Ecolene Eads of Clayton, New Mexico.

DAUGHTER: Debbie Warner and her huband Miles of Amarillo, Texas.

GRANDDAUGHTER: Melissa Kim Rodriguez of Amarillo, Texas.

GRANDSON: Brian Warner and his wife Miranda of Amarillo, Texas.

GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: MaKenzie Mitchell, Caleigh Warner, Jaxon Warner and Brantley Warner.

And many nieces and nephews.
