Jose Ignacio Vigil, also known by family and friends as Nash, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the age of 84 in Trinidad, Colorado.
Nash was born in Sarcillo Canon, CO (near Trinidad, CO) on November 11, 1933. He started working at the Frederick Coal Mine in Trinidad at the young age of 18 and worked there for 14 years. Nash moved his family from Trinidad to Denver in 1962 where he began his 37-year career as a truck driver.
Nash was married to Margaret Elizabeth Montaño on August 11, 1951; they were married for 66 years.
Nash enjoyed spending time with family, listening to old western music, his God, the Colorado Rockies, and of course the Denver Broncos.
Nash is survived by his wife Margaret, two daughters Dawna and Louise, grandchildren Tanya Renae, Mandee Jean & Regan Nash, and great-grandchildren Mackinzee Jade, Jayden Nash and Saiya Renae.
