In Loving Memory of Gilbert Lee Sanchez

Gilbert Lee Sanchez, (Buffalo), age 65, left us unexpectedly to be with the Lord, on December 4, 2017.
He was a generous man and would lend his family and friends anything he had to help them out. He loved shooting his guns, going for rides in the country, fishing and hunting.
Gilbert was a great cook and loved to cook for his family. He could not throw anything away and would use his creativity to fix anything broken and find ways to make it function even better.
Gilbert loved his homemade beans, tortillas and hot chili. He liked to listen to Spanish music watch Western movies and Bronco games. He was the happiest when he was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Gilbert worked at Best Western Hotel as a maintenance supervisor and was very knowledgeable in construction, remodeling, electrical and cement work. He worked on the construction of the old Holiday Inn and the remodeling of the Columbian Hotel. He liked working on cars and would help his family, friends and strangers to save them money.
Preceding him in death are parents, Lucia and Amedeo Sanchez, brothers, Orlando, George and Louie Sanchez, sisters Eva Casias, MaryAnn Neatherlin, and father in law John Armijo.
He was deeply loved and will leave a huge void in the lives of his wife MaryAnn Sanchez, children, Melanie(Leroy)Trujillo , Joshua Sanchez, grandchildren, Isaiah Madrid, Sierra, Chloe, and Emilio
Trujillo, Gage, Stormie, and Malacki Sanchez, mother in law, Mary E. Armijo, brothers Ernest (Candice) Sanchez, Steven (Twilla) Garcia, sisters, Carmen (Jeff) Martinez, Mary Lou and Joanna Sanchez, brothers and sisters in law, Joseph (Kathy) Spicola, John (Vickie) Armijo, Orlando (Marlene) Medina, Ernest (Sandy) Medina, Evelyn (Todd) Terrill, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 15, 2017 at 1PM at Holy Trinity Church.
Inurnment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
