Olga Reorda passed away September 26, 2017.
She was born in Segundo, Colorado to Minnie and George Genis. The family later moved to Aguilar, Colorado where she attended K-12 grades and continued her education at Trinidad State Junior College, Greeley and Adams State College , where she received her B.A. degree.
She taught school in Primero, Jansen, Washington State and the Trinidad School District, encompassing 40 years of education. While in college she was active in theater and an avid reader.
She had a passion for softball, bowling and enjoyed watching HER Atlanta Braves and Denver Broncos!
Olga is survived by her husband of 57 years Joseph Reorda, sons Joseph and Danny Reorda. Nieces Vicki (Allen) Bachoroski, Canon City, Colorado, Elaine (Stan) Colangelo of Trinidad, Colorado. Sisters in law Ann Monteleone, Theresa Paravecchio , Anna Mae Reorda, and Helen Genis, brother in law John (Yvonne) Reorda and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by very special family friend Kaye Haycock.
Olga was preceded in death by her parents Minnie and George Genis, sister Mary Cholakos Adams, brothers John Genis , Robert Genis and niece Georgia Rino.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017 with Rosary at 9am at the Comi Chapel followed by the Funeral Mass at 10am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Carl Wertin officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.

So sorry for the loss of such a great woman. She was a great friend and teammate to my mother and a great teacher and role model for all.
