In Loving Memory of James David “Jimmy” Sintas

James David “Jimmy” Sintas, age 49, died Monday, July 24, 2017, at his home in Clayton, New Mexico.

Rosary will be recited at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 5, 2017 by Deacon P. Louis Montoya and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. following the Rosary at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Fr. Joel Bugas as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

sintas jJames David “Jimmy” Sintas was born on December 4, 1967 in Clayton, New Mexico to Richard B. Sintas and Evelyn M. (Trujillo) Sintas. He graduated from Clayton High School in 1986 and worked for Isaacs True Value Hardware for several years before going to work for the NM Highway Department as a Tech Engineer where he worked for 20 years. Jimmy loved wood working and several of his works are displayed in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton. He was a very gentle soul and loved everyone and he was very generous and kind hearted. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother on December 23, 2002 and his father on June 26, 2013, by Iris’s father; David S. Diaz and by two aunts; Mary Archuleta and Dolores Ulibari.

HIS FIANCÉ: Iris Diaz of Clayton, New Mexico and her sons; Alexander Melendrez and Matthew Melendrez and her mother; Antonia Diaz all of Hereford, Texas.

3 SISTERS: Teri Mansfield and her husband Pete and Connnie Johnson and her husband Jason all of Clayton, New Mexico and Espy Elliott and her husband Scott of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

1 BROTHER: Chris Sintas and his wife Sylvia of Stanley, Virginia.

Nieces & Nephews: Kaitlyn Hyer of Clayton, New Mexico, James Elliott of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Timothy Sintas and Kristen Sintas of Stanley, Virginia and Dustin Sintas of Amarillo, Texas.

Aunts & Uncles: Helen Sintas, Lillie Padilla and her husband Jerry, Geneva Medina and her husband Raymond, Robert Trujillo and his wife Lisa, Frank Trujillo and his wife Dolores, Moses Trujillo and his wife Shelly and Gene Archuleta all of Clayton, New Mexico, J. B. Sintas of Spearman, Texas and Arlene Encinias and her husband Dario of Dumas, Texas.
