James “Jaime” Roybal, age 66, passed away June 18, 2017, after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.
Born May 26, 1952, he was the son of the late Rose and Ramon Roybal.
Jaime graduated from Trinidad High School and Adam State University with a BA Degree in Bilingual Education and also received his Masters Degree from the University of Arizona.
Preceding him in death are sisters Dela Abeyta, Linda Mayhill, Betty Lovato and Emma LaCrue.
He is survived by his wife Theresa S. Roybal, daughter Marivel Roybal, her fiancé Jose Zazueta, granddaughter Sunee Mirazo, his son Javier (Briana) Roybal, granddaughter Emma Roybal, brothers Ray Roybal, Tim Roybal, sisters Tomasita Bernal, Vera Santistevan, Dolores Diaz, Ruth Smith, Becky Chacon, brother in law Richard Abeyta, numerous nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
Services and interment were held in Tuscon Arizona.
