Isabel, (Grandma Romero) worked in my classroom at Columbian School as a foster grandparent for 17 years. She was dedicated to her job helping students with academics even eating lunch with them! The halls and classroom filled with excitement when Grandma Romero was there. Sometimes bringing treats for the children or her famous homemade tortillas. Isabel had a wonderful sense of humor, was my right hand in the classroom and a dear friend! She always had hug for everyone and touched the hearts of many. A special GRANDMA to hundreds!
