In Loving Memroy of Bonnie D. Casey

Bonnie D. Casey, age 84, died Friday, February 24, 2017 in Amarillo, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 27, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Clayton, New Mexico with Rev. Billy Rammage officiating. Burial followed in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

caseyBonnie D. Casey was born on October 12, 1932 in Clayton, New Mexico to Elmer Daves and Roxie (Faircloth) Daves. She attended school in Clayton and graduated from Clayton High School in 1951. Bonnie married James U. Casey in September of 1952 in Clayton, New Mexico. James served in the US Air force and they lived in the tri-state area and overseas for most of their lives living in Amarillo, Albuquerque, Oklahoma City and in Buffalo, Missouri. Bonnie was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society. She loved the senior center and especially loved playing 42 and Bonnie loved her Dallas Cowboys and she loved to quilt. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Wayne Daves and Tracey Daves.

SURVIVORS:

HUSBAND: James U. Casey of Amarillo, Texas.

3 DAUGHTERS: Sherry Casey and Judy Casey both of Amarillo, Texas and Cindy Stephenson of Azle, Texas.

2 SONS: Rodney Casey of Springfield, Missouri and Terry Casey and his wife Julie of Parker, Texas.

6 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren

1 SISTER: Betty Watters of Clayton, New Mexico.

2 BROTHERS: Dale Daves and his wife Linda of Dumas, Texas and Donald Daves and his wife Glenna of Buffalo, Missouri.

2 SISTERS-IN-LAW: Clara Mae Daves of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Kaye Daves of Elkhart, Kansas.

And numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
