In Loving Memory of James “Robert” Apodaca

James “Robert” Apodaca, entered eternal life on February 20, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Denver, CO to James and Isabel Apodaca on May 21, 1961.

Robert attended area schools and considered himself a professional driver. He worked for Sno-White Linen and Medco Professional Services.

Apodaca PicRobert spent countless hours traveling Colorado and New Mexico highways and back roads.

He liked to spend all his spare time on the golf course, rain or shine.

He was a devoted Broncos fan, rarely missing a game.

Robert enjoyed watching TV, bowling and traveling.  He enjoyed driving his grandchildren from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and everywhere in between.

On Thursday, February 16, 2017, Robert gave his life to Jesus and is now enjoying being in the presence of his Savior, where there is no more pain, sorrow or tears, just joy unspeakable…………….

Preceding him in death is father James D. Apodaca.

He is survived by his children, Rachel Apodaca, Steven Apodaca, Frances (Joe) Trujillo, Jessica (John) Garcia, Daniel Kirby and best friend Eva Campbell of Trinidad.

Also surviving are his mother Isabel Apodaca (Harry Bittner), grandchildren, Michael LaCrue, Nikki Apodaca, Larissa Apodaca, Meloree Apodaca, Alysse Trujilo, Maria Trujillo, Kourtney Trujillo, Ariana Apodaca, Javier Garcia, Jesse Garcia, John Apodaca, brothers Manuel Apodaca, Benji Apodaca, sister Catherine (Mark) Paino, Uncle Alfred Medkiff, aunt Helen Martinez, special niece, Jennifer Apodaca, special nephew, J.J., Apodaca, niece Tina Apodaca, his dog Tank, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 3PM-7PM at the Comi Chapel.

Funeral will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 1PM at First Christian Church with Bill Glidden officiating.

Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are John Duran, Steven Apodaca, J.J. Apodaca, Michael LaCrue, Joe Trujillo and Manuel Apodaca.
