In Loving Memory of Rudolph “Rudy” Bowman,

Rudolph “Rudy” Bowman, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on January 20, 2017.

He was born in Burro Canyon, CO on July 26, 1936 to Virginia (Roybal) and Clark Bowman, Sr.

bowmanHe was employed as a welder in the Raton, Arizona and Washington areas for a period of 20 years until his retirement. Together with his brother John, he owned and operated a family cattle ranch, in Burro Canyon.

Rudy had a passion for raising and caring for his animals. He loved working outdoors and especially fixing fences.

Preceding him in death are parents, Virginia and Clark Bowman Sr., sisters Mary Lou Kelly, Pauline Lash, Stella Madrid and brother Clark Bowman Jr.

Survivors are siblings, John Bowman, home address, Richard Bowman, Walsenburg, Erma Lawson, Pueblo, Liz Montoya, Trinidad, nephews and nieces, Ken Lawson, Chester Lawson, Pueblo, Valerie Lash, Denver, Princess Kelly, Pueblo, numerous cousins including Gilbert (Carol) Bowman, who lovingly cared for Rudy, and many dear friends including Butch Harbor, Cindy Harbor of Pueblo, and all of Rudy’s special caregivers and friends of Sangre DeCristo Hospice.

Visitation will be Tuesday, from 3PM-6PM at the Comi Chapel.

Rosary will be Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 7PM at Holy Trinity  Church.

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday January 25, 2017 at 10AM at Holy Trinity Church.

Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Ken Lawson, Chester Lawson, Bobby Bowman, Tom Bowman, Gary Bowman and Butch Harbor.
