In Loving Memory of Eloy F. Sandoval

Eloy F. Sandoval, affectionately known as “Handsome,” passed away at Mt. San Rafael Hospital on January 18, 2017. He was 84.

sandoval eMarch 2, 1932, the son of Apolonia (Montoya) and Eliseo Sandoval.

On February 14, 1953, Eloy was united in marriage to Bernice Sandoval in Raton, New Mexico.

He was employed by the Burlington Northern Railroad for many years until his retirement.

Eloy liked to hunt, tend to his garden and break and ride horses.

Preceding him death are his parents and wife Bernice.

Survivors are children, Floyd Sandoval, Valdez, CO, Virginia (Lee) Apodaca, Hoehne, CO, George Sandoval (Jerry) Grand Junction, CO. Geraldine (Orlando) Coca, Trinidad, CO, Gloria (Chuck) Matthews, Pueblo, CO, Randy (Brenda) Sandoval, Trinidad, CO, Rena Espinoza, Trinidad, CO,  18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, sister Stella (John) Armijo, Denver, CO, sisters and brothers in law, Florence Sandoval, Trinidad, Josie Sandoval, Denver, Leola Sandoval, Mary Bronson Nevada, Alfred Sandoval, Trinidad, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Visitation will be Monday from 2PM-6PM t the Comi Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 10AM at the Comi Chapel.

Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are granddaughters Tekoa, Sara, Adele, Roxanna, Vanessa, Tara and Lori.

Active pallbearers are Michael Sandoval, Chad Marquez, Derrick Alizadeh, Randy Sandoval, Mark Apodaca and Jason Apodaca.
