In Loving Memory of Rebecca DeHerrera

Rebecca DeHerrera, age 98, went home to her savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at her home in Clayton, New Mexico.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 31, at the Clayton Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Emanuel DeHerrera and Pastor Louis DeHerrera, Jr. officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, New Mexico.

deherrera-rRebecca (Armijo) DeHerrera was born on December 17, 1918 in Gladstone, New Mexico to Ezequiel Armijo and Odilia (Vigil) Armijo. She married Frank H. DeHerrera on November 18, 1941 in Clayton, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2011. In addition to her parents and husband, Rebecca was preceded in death by 4 sons; Erminio DeHerrera, Gilbert Lawrence DeHerrera, Rudy Ezekial DeHerrera and Frank DeHerrera, Jr., 3 sisters; Mary Herrera, Beatrice Perez and Angie Flores, a grandson; Joseph DeHerrera, 1 sister-in-law; Helen Martinez and 3 brothers-in-law; Emanuel DeHerrera, Ben DeHerrera and Abenicio DeHerrera.

SURVIVORS:

2 DAUGHTERS: Odilia Sintas and her husband Eppie of Raton, New Mexico and Louise Cox of Hooker, Oklahoma.

4 SONS: Joe DeHerrera and his wife Stephanie of Clayton, New Mexico, Gene DeHerrera of Raton, New Mexico, Louis DeHerrera and his wife Ann and Gary DeHerrera and his wife Susan all of Guymon, Oklahoma.

2 SISTERS: Georgia Martinez of Denver, Colorado and Helen Medina of Amarillo, Texas.

2 BROTHERS: Alberto Armijo of Amarillo, Texas and Henry Armijo of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

23 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, great-great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
